FindStars LLC (“FindStars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online platform that connects creators with businesses seeking content, promotions, reviews, user-generated content, and other creator services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use FindStars, including our website, applications, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Creator Account Information
When a Creator creates or manages an account, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Cellphone number
- Creator display name
- Profile photo, banner image, or portfolio media
- Location and travel radius
- Social media platforms and profile links
- Website
- Creator categories and specialties
- Follower counts, average views, and other creator profile information
- SMS and marketing communication preferences
Business Account Information
When a Business creates or manages an account, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number (optional)
- Business name and business information
- Profile photo or logo
- Website
- Mission information
Business accounts are not currently enrolled in FindStars SMS messaging and are not required to provide a cellphone number.
Creator Cellphone Numbers
Creators are required to provide a cellphone number during registration. Providing a cellphone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages from FindStars. Separate affirmative consent is required for each type of SMS communication, as described in the SMS section below.
Marketplace and Profile Information
We may collect information you provide through the marketplace, including:
- Mission information
- Applications and invitations
- Reviews
- Messages and communications
- Orbit collections and notes
- Support requests
- Reports, blocks, and other safety-related information
Payment Information
When you purchase paid FindStars features, payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe.
FindStars generally does not store full payment-card numbers. We may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, transaction identifiers, subscription status, and the product or service purchased.
Analytics
When you use FindStars, we may automatically collect information such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Login and session information
- Pages and features accessed
- Mission views
- Creator profile views
- Clicks on creator website or social-media links
- Application and invitation activity
- Messaging activity
- Security and diagnostic information
We may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate, secure, remember, and improve the Services.
Location Information
Creators may provide a location and travel radius so FindStars can surface nearby Missions.
Businesses may provide a physical Mission location or identify a Mission as Remote.
We may store geographic coordinates associated with selected locations to provide distance- and radius-based marketplace features.
We do not require precise continuous GPS tracking for ordinary Mission Discovery.
Communications
We may collect information from communications you send to us or other users, including support requests, messages, and reports.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Authenticate users and maintain sessions
- Display Creator and Business profiles
- Match creators with relevant Missions
- Personalize Mission Discovery using categories, platforms, location, and travel radius
- Process Mission applications and invitations
- Provide messaging and paid Direct Text features
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Operate Starlight, Mission Boosts, and other paid features
- Maintain Orbit collections
- Provide analytics such as Mission views, profile views, and link clicks
- Send account, payment, Mission, invitation, application, messaging, and security communications
- Send marketing communications where a Creator has provided separate marketing SMS consent
- Provide customer support
- Detect fraud, abuse, spam, and security threats
- Process reports and blocks
- Enforce our Terms and platform policies
- Improve and troubleshoot the Services
- Comply with legal obligations
3. SMS Consent and Preferences
Creators may provide a cellphone number during registration. Providing a cellphone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages from FindStars.
FindStars uses two separate, optional consent choices for SMS communications:
- Non-Marketing / Service SMS: Messages about account activity, Mission invitations, direct messages, payment-related updates, and other service notifications.
- Marketing SMS: Messages about special offers, promotions, discounts, product updates, service updates, and FindStars news.
Each consent is collected separately. A Creator may provide a cellphone number while declining both SMS consent options. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing FindStars services or maintaining a FindStars account.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of applicable SMS communications. Reply HELP for assistance. To rejoin, follow the supported opt-in process in your account settings or reply START where supported. Carrier-level opt-outs (such as replying STOP) cannot simply be overridden by a FindStars account setting.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Marketing and service SMS consent are separate. Granting one does not grant the other.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared for third-party marketing. Messaging information may only be provided to carriers, aggregators, communications providers, and support providers as necessary to operate the messaging service.
Business accounts are not currently enrolled in FindStars SMS messaging and are not required to provide a cellphone number.

4. Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, cloud infrastructure, customer relationship management, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, payment processing, and customer support.
These providers may process information only as appropriate to provide services to FindStars and subject to their applicable agreements and obligations.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information as necessary to operate FindStars.
Other FindStars Users
Information intended to be public or shared through the marketplace may be visible to other users. For example:
- Creator profile information may be visible to Businesses.
- Business profile and Mission information may be visible to Creators.
- Applications and invitations are visible to the participating accounts.
- Messages are visible to conversation participants.
- Reviews may be visible to other users.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law or legal process
- investigate fraud or abuse
- protect users or the public
- enforce our Terms
- investigate reports
- prevent security incidents
- protect FindStars' rights and property
Business Transactions
If FindStars is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
6. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
FindStars does not sell personal information for money.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.
If our practices change in a manner that creates additional privacy rights under applicable law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Some information may be retained after account closure when required or permitted for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, moderation, or recordkeeping purposes.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should notify FindStars if they believe their account has been compromised.
9. Security and Bot Protection
FindStars uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., to help protect our platform, accounts, registration forms, login systems, and other sensitive features from automated abuse, fraudulent activity, bots, and malicious traffic.
When Turnstile is used, Cloudflare may process limited technical signals associated with your browser, device, and network connection for security and bot-detection purposes. These signals may include information such as your IP address, browser and user-agent information, network and connection characteristics, and information associated with the FindStars website or Turnstile configuration.
Turnstile may operate invisibly in the background and may perform automated security checks without displaying a visible challenge.
Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store, or transmit the contents of your communications, form entries, passwords, messages, or other information that you submit through FindStars as part of its Turnstile security checks.
We use Turnstile solely for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and protecting the integrity of the FindStars platform.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you reside and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain disclosures or uses.
You may also update much of your profile information directly through your FindStars account.
Creators who opt into SMS may withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP or using other available preference controls in their account settings.

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
Applicable state laws may provide additional rights.
11. Account Deletion
FindStars may provide a process to request account deletion.
Deletion may require confirmation through the account holder's verified email address.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, payment records, fraud prevention, safety investigations, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
12. Children
FindStars is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected such information in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
13. Third-Party Links
Profiles, Missions, and messages may contain links to third-party websites or social platforms.
FindStars is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party services. Users should review those services' policies before providing information to them.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as FindStars evolves.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Services, by email, or through another appropriate method.
The Effective Date above indicates when this Privacy Policy was most recently updated.
